ETHICAL SOURCING
At CEMPA, strength starts with responsibility.
We believe clothing should never come at the cost of someone else’s wellbeing. Our commitment to ethical sourcing reflects the values at the heart of our brand: integrity, respect and quiet resilience. We work with carefully selected suppliers who share our standards and are committed to safe, lawful and fair working practices.
Our Standards
All CEMPA suppliers are required to:
- Comply with UK Modern Slavery legislation and applicable labour laws
- Prohibit forced, bonded or child labour
- Provide safe and hygienic working conditions
- Pay at least the legal minimum wage
- Follow working hour regulations
- Prohibit unauthorised subcontracting
- Respect workers’ rights and dignity
We require suppliers to formally acknowledge our Supplier Handbook and ethical standards before working with us.
Transparency & Due Diligence
As a growing brand, we are building our supply chain with intention.
We prioritise:
- Clear visibility of production locations
- Direct relationships where possible
- Limiting unnecessary intermediaries
- Ongoing dialogue with our partners
Where appropriate, we reserve the right to request documentation or conduct site visits.

OUR COMMITMENT 2026
Strength is measured by action.
As CEMPA grows, we are committed to building a responsible brand
with clear, accountable standards. These commitments reflect where
we are today, and where we intend to go.
Ethical Standards
By the end of 2026, we commit to:
- 100% of Tier 1 suppliers formally signed to our Supplier Handbook
- and Agreement
- Maintaining up-to-date insurance and legal documentation for all
- suppliers
- Conducting an annual review of every active supplier relationship
We believe responsible sourcing is not a one-off check but an ongoing responsibility.
Responsible Materials & Production
By the end of 2026, we aim to:
- Ensure at least 50% of core cotton styles use organic or
- responsibly sourced fibres.
- Make 100% of consumer-facing packaging recyclable or
- biodegradable.
- Maintain lean production practices to reduce waste and overstock
- Limit seasonal drops to encourage longevity over fast turnover.
Our goal is to build products designed to last.
